There is practically no padding between the plastic spikes and your foot, just a thin piece of black cloth covering a piece of cardboard. The cardboard starts to disintegrate when it gets very wet. The hard plastic sole separated from the rest of the shoe (starting at the toe) after about 5 months of using them 4 hours a week on a turf field. This happened on both the shoes. I superglued it back in place and wrapped a lot of electrical tape around the shoe to fix it, but a few later I threw the shoes away because they caused pain in the muscles in my shins (not in the actual shin bone, but in the muscles to the left and right of it). I think the pain was caused from my feet pounding on the turf field and the pressure being translated directly from the plastic spikes into my feet and shins, since there was such little padding. Don't buy these shoes, spend an extra $30 on a legit pair that won't hurt your feet/shins and fall apart in a few months.

First of all, I don't use these for soccer, I play ultimate frisbee, so I don't know how they feel kicking or anything like that.I wasn't expecting an amazing cleat, becuase I got this for under $30. I've played in them probably around a dozen times, and the insoles are shifting and have basically come off of the bottom of the shoe. I recently just purchased some insoles to replace them.
As a personal opinion, I prefer blade cleats and these are studs, which I knew going into it, but had forgotten how different they felt to me. Again, I don't use studs often, but it seems that they are pretty tall for studs. There have been a few times where I've planted to make a cut and with the cleat being as tall as it is, it seems as though it might be a hazard for somone with ankle problems. I've lightly turned mine a couple times in these, nothing that has caused injury, but I usually never turn an ankle while playing unless I'm playing in a bad field and step in a hole.
So, it's a decent cleat, and will get the job done, but I wouldn't buy them again, I would go with a different option personally.

I ordered I/2 a size larger than I usually wear and the fit is a little snug but OK. Needs insoles placed on top of the ones there or they are murder on the feet. May be why they are a little snug.Seem to be a good shoe for the price.
