More subdued looking than most Castelli wear. Very soft, stretchy fabrics and feels lightweight. The large, vertical Castelli type logo that goes up the right side is black on black. It looks like a shiny screen print. I presume that if I pull the stretch material where this logo is that the screen printing will eventually break apart. I don't intend to sit here and pull away at it, though so I think it will be fine.
The underside of the arms have a mesh material that goes up to your arm pit for ventilation. It's not see through.
The red cuff is like a soft, stretchy jersey/lycra fabric. The white Castelli type logo on this cuff looks like flocking. So that's potentially screen printed with the additional flocking. I think this will show wear since it's white and fluffy and will get lightly stained but I don't mind. Again, I just won't sit here and rub it to find out. The right side cuff is the jacket material, not lycra.
All the zips look like they are good quality. There are a lot of nice, small details on this jacket. Very Italian in that respect.
When you zip it up partially or all the way, it looks like you're wearing a 1/4 zip pullover because of the red lining at the top of the main zipper. I like this effect.
The appears to be short enough to where it will stay up and not flop over time.
FITTING
I'm 6'1", 165lbs, I think my chest is 38, I usually get 30W/34L jeans and I bought the XL purely because it's Castelli and I didn't want a form fitting jacket for the office. It fits perfectly since I wanted a casual jacket. It's not baggy though. The arms are nice and long.
It looks just like the picture when it's on me so hopefully my fitting helps you out.
