These are great travel pants! They're comfortable and durable, and they are easily hand-washed and hung up to dry overnight. I enjoyed wearing them at full-length and as shorts. (The shorts length is an appropriate length for travel falling at about the knees. They're cool enough for warm weather, but modest enough to not draw attention to you as a tourist.) At 5'6" and 140 lbs, I ordered the size 8, which had a little more room than I needed. But the drawstring waist allows you to adjust the pants, and the size 6 was snug enough that I worried about fitting into them if I gained any weight. (If you feel fairly certain that your weight won't fluctuate or if you don't mind the expense, I would probably go with a size 6.) The pants are also flattering and stylish enough to wear out with friends when I'm at home. I would recommend these.

Love these pants for hiking or just running around town. They are super comfortable and fit great. I always pack these for a trip as they pack and wash easily and are great no matter what kind of weather I run into during my travels.

I bought these for my wife as I have a pair of Prana's that are about identical for men and we loved them. We went on a 30 mile backpacking trip to the highest peak in Utah in October. We had temperatures well below freezing as well as 50 degrees in the sun and they felt perfect. My wifes one complaint is that they zip off very close to the knee which is an odd length for women as Womens are usually either a bit above the knee or are capri length. My wife wears between a 4 and 6 and we went with a 6 and fit nicely so if anything it ran a little small.

Also a note on durability when we came down the mountain we went down a rock slide and the pants held up very well. The green also masked the amount of dirt from sliding down more than 1,000 feet on the rocks.

Love love love these pants! Often times hiking/ convertible pants look completely dorky even on the thinnest of people. Not these! These are super flattering and super comfortable! I bought them in three colors. They were my only shorts/pants for a 4 month trip to Asia. They wash and dry really fast and are perfect for travel in any weather and going to any occasion outside of a black tie event. They can be dressed up or down. I wore them hiking and all had no issues with passing them off as nice slacks. Can't go wrong with these!

I bought a size 4 as i generally go between a 2-4. The 4 was too big. I exchanged for a 2 and this is what i currently own. I reccomend going down at least one size if you teeter between sizes. Even the 2 is a bit loose and if they had a zero in stock i would have exchanged to even smaller. You will love them.
