I purchased this for sun protection and it seems to work quite well. Also, it dries quickly once it is out of the water. I normally wear a large, but this extra extra large (XXL two sizes above what I would purchase for a shirt) still clings around my skin. I prefer this fit to a really tight fit.

Bought this for my husband who usually wears a large/tall or XL. He has a super long torso and everytime he raised his arms his tummy showed. So he wouldn't wear it. It ended up being worn by my 6 foot tall teen son who has a regular-long torso with out any problem other than being a little baggy. They run tight (they're supposed to) so go a size up from your usual size.

Overall I am very pleased with the shirt. I ordered two sizes larger and it still fits very snug. I like the shirt so much, I bought the short sleeve version as well.

I'm 5' 9" and weigh 155 lbs. I ordered a medium and this shirt fit me perfectly. Nice and snug, but very comfortable. I used it to body surf in Costa Rica on a couple of very sunny and hot days. I'm fair skinned and this item kept me from getting maimed by the sun.

It also has a convenient little loop on the front of the shirt that you can attach to your shorts to keep the shirt from riding up when you get bounced around in the surf. It was not too hot to hang around in on the beach too.

My girlfriend thinks it makes me look sexy, and that's saying a lot.

I got this O'Neill rash guard for a multi-day snorkeling trip to St. John, USVI. I used it on three occasions, each of which involved hot, sunny days and snorkeling to depths of 3 to 20 feet. I love this product as it kept me warm in the cooler waters, kept me from getting torched in the blazing mid-day sun, and allowed me to swim with ease. I ordered the small (I am 5'6", 150 pounds) and it fit really well (snug in and out of the water, but not too tight). The quality seems good and it looks good to. I hand washed it upon returning home and no signs of wear.
