This holster does what its suppose to do the gun can easily be drawn out of it nothing to hold it back AND the clip holds onto the belt fine. Its easier to use with its own belt but this can defeat the purpose so it you use it with your pants belt it is a little tricky to get the thing up and over your belt so it is fixed onto your belt but once there it works it aint going no where. I use mine with the Taurus 5 shot .38 :)
