I've been using running shorts for Crossfit and wanted something with more leg room for movements like squats and lunges. These short have a slit on the side that give better movement and are made of poly/spandex that stretches four ways so it is very comfortable. They also breathe are are well constructed. There is velcro at the fly and a drawstring. The drawstring runs to the back where it is stitched to a large section of fabric that is integrated into the waistband. The eyelet is metal and the string is heavy duty so you can get a nice tight fit.

These are made for MMA so they will run a bit big so that you can wear a cup underneath. There are two pockets, the larger has an inside pocket where you can put your wallet/keys/change when walking around. The other is at hip level and large enough to hold my iPhone 5 with a case. The material is breathable and easy to transition from running, to weights to explosive movements like jumping.

These would have been the perfect CrossFit shorts if they just got the sizing right. It has 2 nice pockets and is made of an amazingly comfortable and quick drying material. But these were not cheap and for the price I expected them to fit better. I got size 32's and they are almost falling off and the drawstring is the only thing that keeps them on my waist.
