I counted seven variously sized pockets, most of them with zipper closures. This is a nice feature for the traveler, commuter, or outdoor enthusiast to organize and not lose important items. At first glance I was surprised by the vest's lack of bulk and weight.
But it was exactly what I was looking for a thin, but light and warm vest to wear under a jacket on those extra-cold days. I bike-commute and rely on gear to perform and be functional. Primaloft works better for heavy exertion because it keeps you warm when wet, and from my experience, it breathes better than goose down.
The ripstop fabric is very thin and light, durability is unknown since I've only had the vest a while. But given ExO's great quality, I'd expect this garment to last for quite a while. (Sizing information: I'm 6'1", 190 with athletic build, a large fit well, snug, but not restrictive, and doesn't look bulky under a jacket. Great for an extra layer to warm your core. The material and the construction were top notch. It provided a little bit of added warm during an unexpected snow shower while hiking.
