I've own about 10 pairs of various ASICS Men's running shoes. This is the first pair where sizing is slightly narrow in the front. I do fit in them but its tight. It's easy to order from amazon when you know your size but I will have to try on future purchases before ordering. I'm not sure if the narrow cut is limited to the Cumulus sneakers or all newer lines coming out from ASICS. My advice, try them on. You might be going up a 1/2 size for these to fit comfortable. Other then the size change, its a good running shoe.

I have the nimbus 15 and it feels and does great. The size is correct. I ordered the Gel-Cumulus 15 lite shoe to rotate shoes for running. It fits snug and tight. I had to send it back and get a 1/2 size larger. This shoe has alot of cushion and is very light. It really feels great. I recommend it but try it on instead of ordering online it you can because it runs smaller.

I absolutely love those shoes. They are very comfortable with a lot of padding for shock absorption, great foot balance, and a general feel of light-weight sturdiness.

I have a fairly thick body frame, weigh ca. 180 lbs, my feet are somewhat overpronated, and I attack the ground with my heel first when running -this is why I need a lot of protection and a solid base in a shoe or else I risk an injury. The new Cumulus delivers what I need. Although I should probably wait another couple of months before making a definite judgment on how much punishment the shoe can take, I can say already that it is well-designed and well-made, and so far it looks like good buy.

About the size: the shoe does tend to run small compared to other brands. When I first put it on, I was afraid I would need to send it back. But after I gave it a try, I actually decided that it is good for size, but snug. In particular, the upper lining in the back is high and thickly padded, pushing your heel a bit forward. But when you are running rather than standing, your body leans forward a little, so the angle at the ankle joint changes, and so does the shoe fit. If you want a shoe that holds your foot tight for protection and a balance, it really should not be very loose. If you do want it lose, order half a size larger than usual.

About the laces: they are kind of short. Again, no complaint there: I actually prefer them short in running shoes, so that don't drag or bounce. Also, if you tie your shoes tight, you would obviously end with more lace to tie with.

About the stitching and sole: the outsole is solid, bends well for all the gel they put in it, offers a good grip on asphalt, dirt, and gravel. The stitchings are nice; in the pair I got there were no loose ends, excess glue, etc. so the build quality looks good.

First off I have been wearing DS Trainers for the last 4 years and loved them. They have lasted very well with training, running and weight lifting. I recently went with the Cumulus 15 because I do not like the new DS Trainers. The Cumulus has way more cushion, support is not all that has and I only have about 4 miles on them and one training fitness class. I wear a size 10 in DS and per Running Warehouse guide I was told to get a 10.5 because they may fit a little tight in the toe area (width). They are snug, but not that bad and will stretch out eventually. I would have to say they're just about true to size for me anyway. One other thing, they're VERY bright. They do stand out and people will notice them. If you don't mind that, then get them and be safe at night...

This shoe is the perfect weight and fit. Changed over from Nimbus and what a world of difference. Only bad thing I have to say is the laces are a little short for my liking. For a neutral they are spot on!
