This is a very nice biking shirt protects me from the wind and sun. You can wear just this shirt from about 50F or so. I wouldn't wear this alone in colder temps. I got the red colored shirt so it is high visibility. It is not a tight, compression shirt. Easy to wash and dries quick if you use it often.
If you are concerned that there is a girl wearing this shirt on the product page don't be. I took the risk and did order it, and it is men's sizing.

The Pearl Izumi Men's Infinity jersey makes a great transitional weather, or base layer on colder days, jersey. There are no pockets but those would be a bit counter to the jersey's intent. As a 230 lbs 6 footer I found the XXL to be the right size. It fits snuggly without being real tight. (In street clothes I wear a larger L to a smaller XL mostly depending on whether the shirt is cut trim or relaxed.) With cycling jersey's pretty trim tailoring I tend towards XL to XXL's.
The jersey is light weight, being made from a fairly light weight poly/spandex knit, and works well under a wind vest or jacket. You beef it up a little by wearing a wicking shirt underneath (I like the Gore stretch mesh base layer shirt for this) and get a great temp range.
I've worn the jersey in both dry and wet conditions with temp ranges from low-mid 50's up to 80F. The shirt wicks very well and feel very comfortable even after 4 hours of constant riding.

Wicks and ventilates really well. Arms are nice and long. I love Pearl Izumi fitment--neither too large nor too tight and looks flattering. I am 6'0", 185lb and the Large was perfect. I pretty much can go large across the entire Pearl Izumi line (for tops) and be more or less happy. One reason I love their stuff.

I purchased the x-large as I do with most of their line, I'm 6.1 @ 195. I stayed with the same size I had when I purchased their Thermo Jacket and wind breaker, both of these fit well. However, I do have a little extra room around my mid section for this shirt. It's not so bad that it would cause me to return it, besides that I have long arms that are always an issue with long sleeves shirts. I will probably purchase the same size again so that I don't end up with sleeves at my elbows! Other than that I have been very happy with Pearl Izumi products, my only complaint is the range of pricing with Amazon for the same sizes, at the high end of 55.00 USD I think they are bit over priced for an online retailer. The purchase and shipping with Amazon are excellent as always and the products from Pearl Izumi (shoes, gloves, shorts/paints and now shirts) have met my expectations every time so far, with one exception on a pair of socks, I found another brand that worked better and cost less.
