I have had the Altitech 3 for a week and at first it was a bit daunting with all of the function but the only thing I had trouble with was turning it on. The insert said "Press and hold all buttons to activate well I did and nothing. I tried for several minutes until I realized my finger wasn't pressing the time button fully well it came on and I have working with it and for me it is impressive. Each function barometer, compass, and altimeter seem to be working well. I checked the local weather channel and the barometric pressure, temperature, and weather were spot on, the compass matches pretty close with Suunto MC-2 compass, altimeter seems to work well enough it is close to our elevation here in Nashville and changing elevation you see it tracks quite well. Over ball I like it but the real test is in the bush. Coming up.

I really like this piece of equipment. The only (very slight) drawback is that it is complex to remember how to set. Because the air pressure changes from day to day when you want to get an accurate altitude it must be corrected. Otherwise it is great.
