When I was first looking into a running jacket, I looked and looked around and was so confused as to which one what the one that would best suit my needs, for early morning running in cool weather here in Florida. I came across the Runner's World website. This jacket is the one that was recommended as #1 for use here in the Southeast. After the first time I used it, I knew why. Don't let the lightweight nature of the material deceive you, this jacket will keep you plenty warm. It not bulky or cumbersome, it's like you aren't wearing a jacket at all, it fits like a shirt. The sleeves are long enough that they cover the top of your hands, which is perfect for me as my hands are the first thing to get cold. If you feel you are getting too warm, the sleeves come off in a complete section, very easily, I didn't even have to stop running to pull them off, roll them up and slide them into the back pocket. The other thing that I really like is that there are the two front pockets, the back pocket, and then the large deep pockets inside on the bottom of the jacket, this many pockets is rare in a running/biking jacket (at least of the ones that I looked at). I haven't had it out in the rain yet. If the water resistance is anything like the wind resistance, then you'll definitely stay dry. There are reflective strips built into the design of the jacket that don't overpower it, I wish they were just a tiny bit thicker, as I get apprehensive as to how visible I really am at 4am.
The only thing that I would recommend to the manufacturer would be to make this jacket with an optional removable hood. With the lightweight and stylish nature of this jacket, I am very comfortable to use it as an everyday jacket. It is perfect for everyday, an optional hood would make it the perfect jacket.

Quality construction and materials , didn't realize that the arms are held together by a contiguous cape across the shoulders. This feature slows somewhat the removal of the sleeves, but also dramatically improves the performance in jacket modeit really does feel like you have a really solid jacket on. I am happy with the jacket (and vest) and highly recommend it!

Great jacket for running and biking. The sleeves are easy to remove while on the move and easily store in the large back pocket. Side pockets zip so items stored are secure. Well placed reflectivity provides visibility on early morning or late evening riding or running. Great wind protection and keeps you warm when layered over other active wear. I bought this jacket for my husband and he LOVES it! It fits well and he looks great in it.
