I was surprised of the quality of the cycling shorts, great! Also, the skirt is longer, just above the knee, and I am 5'8". This was a nice wear after a long ride.

I'm still trying to get into the shape I want to be and don't feel up to walking around in public in my spandex bike shorts. These shorts offer a great wrap skirt (featuring a handy velcro pocket) with a comfy chamois in the undershorts. When I'm slimmer and in better shape, I plan on buying them again, just in a smaller size. Great for errands, a casual ride, or a heavy workout. Highly recommended!

This skirt while true to size was just an inch or two higher on the knee than I expected. That said, it is still super for summer biking but only with biking shorts of course, since the skirt will 'hit the wind' the minute you take off. I don't recommend you try to fiddle with it while riding, either, as it is obviously designed to flap in the wrap-around area. It has a velcro inner closure, and a plastic buckle edge closure.

Despite appearing plain in the photos, the skirt is very stylish. I have received compliments from everyone who has seen it. It has a cute side pocket, that has two velcro closures. I have weighed that pocket down with last-minute knick-knacks, though it should really only be used for something lightweight like a card or a key.

All of the stitching is fine, which is more than I can say for many past spandex sports items. I have already had to mend other Pearl iZumi and Gore spandex items within a year of use. The telltale 'hanging threads' could be seen when the items arrived. Not so with this item.

Almost forgot about the biking shorts (included). They're just fine. The padding is comparable to Pearl iZUMi Women's P.R.O Octane Cycling Short that I previously owned. However, the fabric is a bit less fine (more coarse, with less elastic), so I don't expect the shorts to stay perky forever. I almost forgot about the shorts, because the skirt comes with two inner snap loops on either side, that allow the skirt to be worn with or without the LG shorts. This has allowed me to wear any of my existing biking shorts with the skirt so that construction versatility means I can wear the skirt on any distance bike ride. Nice.

Really like the length and fit of the skirt, the padded bike shorts are a bit short. Seem well constructed, and certainly meet the need. Would give the skirt a 5 star rating, if the padded shorts were a bit longer. Well worth the money.

I love the skirt. It is so cute. I didn't even realize the cute little swirl on the side of the skirt when I ordered it. Its a shinier subtle color on the side. The biker shorts run on the small size but the skirt is really adjustable. I love it and am excited to wear it.
