I bought these shorts in December of 2012 and I am amazed at how comfortable they are. I have several pairs of shorts from Zoic, Canari and Pearl. These are by far the best pair of MTB shorts I have. The liner isn't the best, but it doesn't matter because I have several other liners that I can use. The material that the shorts are made of holds up to riding, blood, washing and wipeouts. The fabric also stretches well, which makes for a comfortable ride. Also, the pockets have zippers, so you can carry your phone, keys or whatever you need without fear of losing it. Sizes may run a little large. Much rawkage.

These shorts stretch and are super comfortable. Do not even bother me when riding. Optional padding inside is helpful when riding. Was surprised I would like them so much. Also, have sunglass rag attachment in one of pockets, you can remove it, but that was a bonus

I bought a pair of these at REI (size 32) and these are just great. Internal lining is detachable which allows two pieces to be used and washed separately if needed. If it's cold outside and you want to have pants on, instead of the shorts, you can still use the lining with gel padding. On the other hand, the shorts can be worn to gym or on a jog and you don't have to walk around with gel pads on. This makes shorts very useful outside of biking.

Material and stitching are of superb quality. The pockets are well placed and allow for easy access while biking and hold your items securely. I did two 50-mile rides wearing these and several training rides. I had them on while doing free-weight workouts and these were comfortable. Another feature is the ability to have a belt (even wider belts will go in fine) put through the loops, but I have not had any reason to do so yet. This could be useful for someone in security or law enforcement.

Didn't get these on amazon cuz they didn't have my size/color combination but loved them so much i wanted to leave a review. i got the dark khaki. They look great, feel awesome, and are excellent for MTB. The fit just below my knee and are super soft. they don't catch on my knee guards either. Good job Fox Racing.
