I bought these pants to wear in Chicago, (oddly it was too warm the weekend I went) but have since worn them and wow are they warm. They do seem a little looser than some other layering pants I have worn, however I am a little bit on the slimmer side. I bought medium and am wondering if the small would have been better, but am always if the length will be too short on smalls.

Love the feel of these, but had to fold up the legs since they were way too long for someone 5'2". Fortunately, the bottoms are not too tight so even if I folded them over ~8 inches (!) they don't restrict the circulation in my calves. Have washed them once and so far have avoided the "sausage casing" feeling of other thermals.Am
