I got this in the purple--which is a gorgeous saturated grapey purple that is not done justice by the photos--and I immediately went to REI and got the charcoal grey version as well. The colors are all so pretty, I want the green too.
It's very simple, clean lines with three quarter sleeves great for bracelets and mobility. There is an empire seam and a little ruching at the v-neck for added detail which makes a nice feminine touch and flattering lines.
This is the perfect dress for travel. It doesn't wrinkle and would pack well and also serve many functions on a trip. It can be worn with boots, leggings, over jeans, with heels or sandals, and it's great for all seasons. It would be wonderful for upcoming holiday parties and it's appropriate for work situations as well.
It's the dress for women who want to feel feminine and look pretty but don't want to spend a lot of time on it or feel uncomfortable. Throw this on and go. You can't go wrong with this dress.

This dress is absolutely shapeless. It is fitted down to just under the bust, and then its a loose sack down from there. It's not as long as it proclaimed either. The description has it knee length. On me, it ends five inches above my knee. I'm 5'9" and 130. My legs are 32 inches. Also, I ordered the licorice. The color shown in the picture was brown. When I received it, its more the color of licorice, a soft black. Perhaps on that count I should have known. This dress is too short, too shapeless and not the color shown. I have some skirts from Horny Toad, and love them all, this dress doesn't measure up.

I love this dress so much that I bought the black and the purple. Great fabric, great cut & fit. Perfect for layering, perfect for the crazy Fall weather here in the South when it's cold in the mornings, upper 70's in the afternoon, then chilly in the evenings again. The length is perfect for boots, heels, or flats, long enough that I can play with the kids or the dog & not be hanging out, yet short enough to be cute. Very, very versatile! I'm 5'4", around 120, 34D, and the size small fits perfectly.

What a great, versatile little dress. It can go casual to slightly dressy depending on how you accessorize; I wear it in the summer with bare legs & sandals or throw on fleece tights and boots in the winter, and either way it looks great. I've got wider hips (41.5") and this dress is super-flattering. Plus you just throw it in the washer/dryer and hang it up, and you're good to go. Love it!

I think this dress, like all others, would look so much better on a woman with a more voluptuous figure. I have a skinny, boyish figure so it does not look that great on me. It's a basic cotton dress with no stretch, not really made to enhance the figure.
