I purchased these in the black, and they are very nice looking. They are almost grey and they work well with down jackets or dressier coats. My other gloves (knit gloves and Isotoners) did not keep my hands warm enough. I do not have any issues with the wind getting through the gloves. I live in Wisconsin and have worn these in 20 degree weather when I am outside for about a half hour. If I am outside for longer or in colder weather then I will wear my snow gloves. These do fit snugly. I have thin fingers and the gloves are a tight fit. The attached "pulls" are handy for pulling the gloves on. I originally purchased a pair at REI for full price and was happy to get another pair for much less!Friday, March 28, 2014
Outdoor Research Women's Flurry Gloves Reviews
Casual styling means you don't look like a complete gear geek and can wear these with a pea coat or other dressy wear and look great. In the meantime, you get all the technical benefits that come standard with an OR product. Lined with thin microfleece, the shell is a woven wool/synthetic blend and holds up very nicely. The rubberized finger tip material will fall off completely within a month or so, but they're nicer gloves without it. Warm enough to use for winter bike riding down to about 30 degrees or so (depends on your personal hand warmth, but for most, this should apply). Great for a crisp day of cross country skiing where it's cold, but some sun.
