Seeing as I'm the first reviewer here, I guess I better give a lot of info on these gloves.

1st: They fit tight. But for some that's a good thing. For me, I ordered XXL, so the tightness is a tad bit troublesome, but it's also rewarding.

2nd: They feel perfect, literally like a second skin. They breath perfectly without being cold. And, as for cold, they keep your hands moderately comfortable when in cold environments. Ah, you may ask how can I tell that if it's August? Well, my fridge freezer is at -40 F. and they kept me warm for a good 15 minutes. So, if they worked that well for 15 minutes in -40 F. Then they should have no problem in say 50 F, for 1 hour or more. So, comfort is also great, feel wise. Even though they are tight, they feel... right.

3rd: The finger dexterity is amazing. Here's how I, personally, judge finger dexterity in gloves. I put on the gloves, and, sift through a bunch of cash in my wallet. And, if I can seperate each individual bill, good... then I consider it to be good dexterity. Well, these were perfect. So they, in my opinion, have perfect dextarity. Because, If I have absolutely no trouble, seperating each and every bill in my wallet, then there will be no problem with doing other tasks in these gloves. Another example of great finger dexterity in these gloves, is typing. I'm on a laptop right now, and I'm having no trouble at all with pressing the keys.

4th: Durability is outstanding. Just for craps and giggles, I did some weight lifting in these. nothing heavy. Just 2 ten pound dumb bells of which I did 100 reps. No tears. Awesome. So, I believe that these will hold up for a long time.

All that having been said... these are the best gloves I've ever worn.

Now, if 15 people say otherwise, then I guess either they got 15 lemons, or I got the one orange.

So, I recommend these gloves. For $$, they're most definitely worth it.

Thanks,

Chuck McK.

I bought these gloves to use on the pistol and rifle range. I like them tight and with significant feel and dexterity (I want them to fit like a second skin). They give me everything that I could ask for in a pair of shooting gloves. I have no difficulty loading or handling .45 ACP magazines, manipulating the slide, mag release, or safety on my 1911s. They provide ample protection against the checkering on my 1911s even when firing up to 500 rounds a day.

They may not last forever or survive extensive heavy use while climbing cliffs or manual labor (they have not worn out yet), but I would much rather have the dexterity and feel benefit and replace them then wear gloves with no feel or dexterity.

I bought these primarily to ride motorcyles and scooters in the spring and summer. It was quite breezy and cool on my ride today and you definitely get the wind through the back material, which will be good when the weather warms a bit. Still, they managed to keep my hands pretty comfortable even with the wind pass through today. Grip and feel is excellent. Not quite enough dexterity to do the one thing I really was hoping for, however. I was hoping to be able to manipulate my helmet strap through the D rings to take my helmet on and off without removing gloves. The seamed fingertips seem to be an obstacle here. It can be done, but takes some work. Perhaps with practice it will get easier. It would be nice to not remove gloves every time I want to remove my helmet. In general though, a fairly minor complaint.

Overall, these seem to be a good deal for the price. Don't know what the long term durability will be, but they seem well made. Will give me at least one skin off layer between my hand and pavement in the unfortunate event they are ever called on for that. One concern I have is stitching longevity. I have seen several pairs of 5.11 gloves in stores (not this style) which have suffered from very poor quality control in the stitching department. When you are paying that much for a glove you don't want to buy them with the stitching already coming apart. Again, that was not evident on this pair, but it does seem to be a concern with the company's line. I guess that is what you get when you likely are paying piece work rates to people in foreign countries to produce this stuff though.

I ordered these because, as a college EMT, I stand around outside in the winter alot. My captain had these and recommended it. I can honestly say that these are one of the best purchases I have made. The great thing is that I can still use my phone when I wearing these. I can also fit a pair of nitrile gloves over them ( I use one size larger pair than normal). The gloves fit like a second skin allowing me to be able to palpate a pulse,BP and the C-spine area perfectly well while wearing them. In addition, the grip on these are great, even better than bare hands alone. When I can't open a jar, I just pop these on, and bamjar is open.

These gloves are warm enough for me to wear in 30-40 degree weather without feeling like my fingers are going to fall off. When it's colder, I'll wear a second pair of actual winter gloves on top so I can still wear these under my medical gloves. I have worn only these during a snowball fight (you can make great snowballs wearing these) and while my hands were a bit cold, they were surprisingly dry at the end.

I wear S or M sized medical gloves(midknight brand), and I bought a small in these. When I layer the two, I wear large medical gloves.
