I bought two of these for a trip to SE Asia. I wanted a breathable fabric that would dry fast overnight after being sloshed through suds in the hotel room, because I overheat easily. I also wanted elbow-length sleeves, which are almost impossible to find these days.
The shirt is beautifully styled but the sizing is off. I usually wear a M-L but like my clothes a little loose, especially in hot weather. So I ordered it in two colors, size L. When they arrived, I tried them on and found that they were skin-tight on me. So I returned them and tried to re-order them both in an XL but only one color was available. I'm hoping the XL will fit better and that the other color will be available soon, as the site says it will be.
Because I haven't had the chance to actually use them yet, I can't comment on how well they will stand up to pilling.
BTW, these shirts are available on a number of sites, varying in price from $24 to $80!

you know what I mean girls, I hate short sleeved shirts or capped sleeves. these sleeves are longer. rinse and wash and it drys super fast for travel

The description is incorrect; nowhere on the product tags does it indicate that their is any sun protection. It indicates lots of other features but not sun protection. Very cute shirt, though. The small is good and i normally wear a 4-6 shirt.

A lot of the Exofficio shirts seems to run a size small, but this is not one of them. Order whatever shirt size you would usually wear or you may run into the same issue that I did where the seams of the sleeves at the shoulders and around the armpit were a little too tight. It wasn't terribly uncomfortable and after a few wears it's mostly ignorable and looks great regardless, but it's something to keep in mind.
