Enter the Sugoi Majik Shell Jacket! I wore a Defeet base-layer t-shirt and a long-sleeved UA fitted heat gear shirt underneath. Admittedly, I was concerned that I was going to be a bit cold considering how light this jacket is, but I went out anyway to test it out. I have to say, the jacket does everything that it's supposed to. I love the light weight, the breath-ability and it's ability to keep me warm without getting too drenched with sweat. This is the an issue for me in general which is why I had to find a jacket that was both windproof and breathable. The collar is the perfect height also to protect your neck from the wind -and it's confortable. I even love the color! Keeps me visible.
The only downside, there's only one pocket and it's only big enough to fit my iPhone and maybe one GU pack. I'm hoping this jacket will do well in the Spring and Fall also since they consider it a winter jacket. Since I didn't use the side vents today, I could only assume that they will work to let the heat out as the weather gets warmer.

This jacket is great. It's waterproof and blocks the wind. It is also surprisingly warm for how light it is.Don't be fooled by the photos that show two zippers where pockets in the front might go. These are merely vent zippers that can be opened up to help ventilate while you're running.
There is an interior zippered pocket inside the jacket. You will unzip the front and the zippered pocket is inside the front left breast.
The sizing is OK, but like all Sugoi products it is slim. I ordered a large which fits great with room for a thin long sleeve underneath, but the sleeves are a bit long. I've found that all Sugoi products seem to be built for more tall, slender people. However, the velcro tabs on the cuffs allow you to tighten down the sleeves so they don't come over the hands.
Really great jacket for protection against the elements!
