I bought these running tights/pants to use for walking my dog in the winter and they were so wonderful that I bought 2 extra pairs. They are very warm, yet still have some breathability along the inner thighs. The small zipper pocket on the back is really wonderful. I really am not much of a runner, but there are so many other things you can do with these pants because they keep you warm, well protected against the elements and are very high quality (in both material and manufacturing). I use these all the time to walk my dog, go to the gym, yoga classes and when it gets warm out I can't wait to use them for biking!! A great Investment.

I've been hesitant to get tights because I think they look ridiculous, but after running in below freezing temps a few times this winter I decided to take the plunge. I went to a running store and tried on about 5 different kinds and these were the ones that fit the best and had the best price. I'm 6'1" 190# and normally I wear size L or XL, but with this brand sizing tends to run small and a L fits fairly loosely. I wish I had got the M, but the extra room isn't always a bad thing I guess.
There is a zippered pocket over the butt that I don't use since I throw on some shorts over the tights to complete my winter runner look. There is some ventilation behind the back of each knee and I agree with the other reviews that the zippered bottoms seem like a good idea until during the run when the zipper opens a little more with every stride.

I live in San Francisco where 40-50 degrees feels freezing and these pants work wonders. I've tried a few different kinds, at first feeling self conscious at how fitted these were but they performed better than anything else I've tried. They have a good-sized zipper pocket in the back, the backs of the knees breath nicely and they're generally comfortable all around. I've used them for 15-18 mile runs where I go from pockets of sun to pockets of dense fog and these pants helped me navigate both environments with ease.
