I got this for Spring in Breckenridge, CO as I needed something lighter than my winter jacket. I'm 5'7, 130 lbs with a 36" chest and a medium fits me well. It was warm enough for 45+ in Brekenridge, though the dry weather tends to make it feel warmer there; it's not too heavy and not too light, probably good for the 40s-60s range.
I used this for snowboarding as well, and it's water repellant enough to stay dry when it's snowing, etc. though the bottom part tended to get wet from sitting in the snow (though this didn't bother me since I had snowpants on). The IPod pouch is a nice feature, though it barely fits my iPhone 4, and probably will only securely close with a smaller iPod; I tried using it with my iPhone, but my iPhone fell out when I was going through some moguls.
Overall, I was pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to others for a good spring jacket/snow/skatewear.
