I am tall and have more of a slender build and like the lines of this jacket much better than the fuller cut coats. I normally wear size 12 or 14 and the large size is just right for me. I really like the dark red color of the coat.
I have taken very nice wind breaker jackets on trips. They were not very stylish and the linings were not breathable and can really be awful if you get too warm as they just become moist inside. This lining appears to be different.
The only thing so far that I really don't like is the ExOfficio logo/name imprinted on the bottom front side of the jacket. It is not the same color as the jacket but a silver color so it is somewhat noticeable. I don't like it when products use you as an advertisement. Well it is not huge but is still annoying to me. If they removed that logo I would give this coat 5 stars at this point.
I will update this after I use the coat if I find anything more to say. Won't be for a couple of months.

I needed a lightweight raincoat for mild weather rains in my travels. I am traveling more, & this raincoat will be perfect to pack-small in my carryon bag. And, I can use it as a windbreaker for layering in colder weather on my trips. The ExOfficio quality has always been excellent, and this raincoat is no exception. All the seams are sealed; the 2-way zipper is nice. Light-colored fabric will be good in the Utah National Parks trip this April. Price is about what I would expect to pay for this raincoat. The large size is roomy enough to layer underneath if needed. I would have given this raincoat the full 5 stars, except that the closure for the hood is rather confusing. I think it's meant to be hook & loop tape, but the 2 patches on my particular coat do nothing. I'll probably re-engineer those before my next trip.
