I bought these PrAna "knickers" in black, and liked them so much I got a second pair in brown. I have other PrAna clothing, and find these true to size. I was concerned they might ride up like some capri's do, but they don't and hit just barely above the knee as pictured. They also wash well.

Because of body shape, I always buy exercise pants with a tie on the waist. The picture shoes a tie. This is a decorative loop only. It does not tighten around the waist. I don't know why you would include this design strictly as a decoration it's not very attractive. Don't be fooled; the waist is a set circumfrence and the tie doesn't make it smaller.

I like the fit on this particular style of yoga pants, so I bought them in several colors. The only thing I don't like about them is the little decorative bow tie to the side that seems to serve no purpose. But I can easily ignore that since they fit so well and work well for yoga practice. So, I'm happy with them.

Before to ordered, i wasn't sure about the size because i'am asian women just 153 cm. my hip is 37", waist 27" then i look the measurement & i was hesitate between S or M, generally when i buy i get fit with S about this design but i decided to take M & it fit good about the hip but the waist is rather loose a bit. I hope the tissue can get dry fast when i'm sweating on the mat. One thing i don't like is the mark of the band at my butt. It's one spot like some sticker on it. Can't remove
