This was nothing what I had expected! I was expecting a different type of fleece. The type of fleece that fleece blankets are made from. This is a very thick fleece with avert thick pile. They should change the description of this jacket. Not at all what I was expecting!

I am 5'10" tall & ordered a large, same size jacket as all my other jackets. Put it on & the sleeves stopped about 3 inches above my wrists & the bottom of the jacket stopped right at my waste however the tailoring was in the wrong location which made the jacket fit poorly. So if you are taller than the "average" woman you may want to think twice or order a size larger than usual & hope it's long enough. Otherwise, extremely soft & warm (in areas covered)

This is the third "Cosy Fleece Jacket" I have purchased & again, I am very pleased. They are great for any chilly day. I buy a size larger than I ordinarily wear because I like some room in my jackets. If you like a "snug" jacket, you would order your normal size.

Bought for my wife for our ski trip to Colorado. She wore it as a mid-layer under her ski jacket and it kept her warm in the cold mountain snow. She wears it all the time now, even in our home state of sunny Floridawhere the A/C in stores and movie theaters can be bone-chilling. She is petite 5'4", 100 lb. Asian female and the XS fit her nicely. The reviews saying it is too small might be true for taller and/or bigger women. The fleece is soft and cozy. Whenever I get chilly, I can wrap my arms around her to warm myself up.

I was expecting purple even from the picture. The color of the jacket is really fuschia. Is a cozy jacket, but I would not have bought this color.
