Excellent for running and the grip strips work well enough that I can lock my front door behind me in the morning without removing the gloves to do so. Not wind resistant in any way so not optimal for cycling. These are actually rather thin gloves, and I would want something heavier if it were below 45 out on my jog. They were also a little bigger than I expected, so if you're between sizes I'd suggest getting the smaller pair.
