I bought this to wear under short sleeve shirts for the winter and couldn't beat the price. Worn it once already and its very nice especially for the price. It's very soft. I am a size 8/10 pant and usually wear a Medium top, but ordered a large because I didn't want it to be tight. It fits very nice and loose enough to wear something underneath for winter.

Pearl Izumi Men's Attack Long Sleeve Jersey Reviews

When I bought this I really wished there was a review of it and yet there was not, so I checked with some other pearl izumi jerseys and hoped the sizing and everything would be ok. Other izumi jersey reviews noted that it tends to run small and that is true. I am a slim 5'9 and the fits me perfectly (shoulder width correct and right length/width). It would not have taken much for it to be too small though. As American brands have moved sizes up over the years I used to wear a medium, but most often now wear small shirts. I would say this runs around 1 to 1.5 smaller than average 'American' style clothing (which is to say loose and american clothes that are small seem to fit more like a full medium). The pictures are accurate for the color/look. There are open pockets in the back and the logo is discreet. The jersey I bought is a MEDIUM.

In choosing this jersey I wanted a long sleeve jersey so it protect my arms from the sun and prevent skin damage. Most jerseys are short sleeve so your arms are exposed to the sun the whole time. I still wear sunblock everyday (recommended) even under this. Another reason for choosing this is that it is upf 50 rated, meaning it is well-suited to protecting skin under sun. It also wicks sweat and breathes well, allowing good airflow. This is certainly acceptable for sunny weather and mid 70s and 80s because of the good breathing and it has so little weight. With that said, this is not one for cooler zones or the winter.

My main concern is that is very thin and does not seem particularly durable. One fall on this and I think it would rip right through. In a fall or even scratching bushes or plants, I think it would not provide any level of protection. It may have been nicer if the sides were reinforced with a vent or maybe the elbows were slightly thicker.

Summary: If you want a long sleeve jersey to protect your skin in the sun that breathes well and light enough to wear in the sun, this is perfect. That was what I wanted in a jersey and this does its job well.

I was looking for a jersey to wear in the warmer weather (>50*F) for sun protection. I'd rather put on a good wicking long-sleeved shirt rather than lather on the sunscreen on my arms. This Attack longsleeve fit the bill. It is a thin polyester. What you are paying for is the design, fitment and fabrication. Totally great! Pockets in back. Long sleeves. form fitting shirt--even a t-shirt underneath felt unnatural. I did find the arms rather tight, especially the biceps. Thankfully (or maybe not) I do not have big guns so that isn't a problem. Should fit reasonably average, fit man quite well. I am 6'0", 185#. Large was perfect. Fitment across the line is why I stick with Pearl Izumi products.

NOTE: The review above is for the orginal Attack longsleeve jersey which is based on the short sleeve. It looks like the short sleeve but with sleeve extenders. The new Attack looks like it was designed for longsleeve from the get-go. It has different fabric along the shoulders that swoop down and around. The important thing about about the new Attack is that it is a much looser jersy and not as tight--more in line with other Pearl Izumi sizes and maybe even larger. I would not recommend a size up if you are buying the new style. With the old style, if you are thinner or athletic (without being too muscular), the same size is fine--everyone else should size up. At half price, the old Attack longsleeve jersey is a great buy!

I am 6'2" 208 lbs and the XXL fits... kind of... I have 16" biceps/46" chest and the arms are pretty tight, sleeves are long enough but overall tight in the upper body (chest/shoulders). Which would be fine, but it is very baggy from there down (waist/hips). Luckily I scored it for $29.00, I would definitely send it back if I paid full retail. Appearance and quality are top notch, it's just obviously cut for someone not very muscular on top. XL would have no chance of fitting me ;-)

Good quality, I ordered a size medium which fits snugly but I still can get a tee shirt on beneath. I am 5'11" and weigh 166 lbs. The sleeves are long enough to cover my wrists which I like as I am susceptible to skin cancer so I need to keep covered up in summer weather. Great for long bike trips.

I am not really into the style of tops that seem to reach all the way down to your knees, but this one was ridiculously the opposite. I was shocked when I saw how small it was. I am an adult and I am not into cropped/belly tops, and that is how this was going to fit me. The arm holes were ridiculously small too. The picture is very deceiving about how it will fit.

I bought these pants for my husband because I was so pleased with my Yumalina pants. The goals was to have a comfortable light-weight snow pant that could handle our active lifestyle in Maine (cold, lots of snow).

My husband wears these pants non-stop. They are his go-to around-the-house pant as well as his outdoor snow pant. Even in the coldest weather, you don't need anything more than a lightweight long underwear tight. He wears them all the time. Skiing. Hiking. Biking. Snowshoeing. Having coffee. Watching "Mad Men." The only time he does not wear these pants is going to work, and that's only because I said they don't look good with a button down shirt and tie.

It's a recent purchase only worn about 6 hours so far to swim laps in both saline and chlorine pools, so I can't comment on its long-term chlorine resistance, but I am very happy with the fit, style, and look/feel of the fabric. Most reviews on the Endurance+ line, and fact that it's polyester/PBT, indicate it should hold up against chlorine much better than nylon/lycra. It's sleek/non-bulky, and dries fast (good for travel/ease of packing). I ordered both 32 and 34; the 34 fit perfectly. Though per Speedo's chart I measure closest to a 32, the 32 was too tight and too short. For reference, I wear 2/XS, am 5'4" 110 lb. It has no bra support, but it fits snug enough that my bust stays in place. It stretches enough to go on/off almost as easily as my nylon/lycra suits, and so far it's retained it's shape and fit in and out of the water. I love the off-shoulder straps, as regular shoulder straps often slip off while swimming.

this is a good suit, but if you're used to nylon then be prepared. this suit has less give, so make sure you buy a big enough size. i think the material is durable, and i like that it doesn't slip when i swim laps, but i don't find it to be as comfortable as my old nylon suit. (maybe i'll come to prefer it eventually, though.) a good purchase, especially at this price.

First off, this suit is very attractive and flattering. I got the black one with pink trim, and the colors look great!

Second, the material seems very durable. I've been using mine for lap swimming in a chlorinated pool 2-4x/week for the past two months, and it still fits fairly snugly like a brand new suit. No signs of sagging or wear so far. Also, the colors don't look like they're fading or otherwise changing.

That said, the actual material is more rigid than regular swim suits, so it's a bit harder to get on and feels a bit tighter when dry, compared to other speedo's I've had. It's very comfortable once you get in the water, though, so it the tightness isn't really a problem while swimming.

I would definitely buy this again, but I might consider sizing up next time since the suit seems like it will hold its current dimensions for a long time instead of loosening up like all the other suits I've owned. I'm 5'1" and a 4-6 dress size, so I ordered a 32, which is my usual Speedo size. Since it's not loosening up like I expected, I might go for a 34 next time if I decide I don't want it as snug.

I would highly recommend this suit for swim training and racing in! Not so much for lounging around or water aerobics since it IS fairly tight fitting.

This suit is great. I swim an hour each day, have used this suit daily for a year and a half now, and it's still going strong. I'm 5'7", 125 lbs, and usually take a size 4 in clothes--the size 38 fits perfectly. This is the most flattering swimsuit I've found in 20 years of swimming. It makes me look a lot slimmer than I actually am =)

This jacket is a nice change from other "puffy" jackets as it is thin but warm. For frequent travelers who use pillows, this jacket tucks into it's own labeled "pillow pocket" to become a soft, cushy pillow. I also love the brown color as most places only sold black, red and white. This is an expensive purchase but it is something you won't see many people wearing, and it folds up so compact you can keep it in the car for those just in case moments or for napping :-)

It's rugged, stands up to a decent amount of punishment so far w/o showing it too much. Being black it gathers an incredible amount of dust and looks dirty constantly :/

The other gripe is that it is pretty small overall (which depends on how you look at it can be a good thing). I put several more molle pouches inside and on it, and everything holds well, but again, putting attachments inside really cramps things up but helps keep things organized. The sleeve over the buckle usually slides out of place, but other than that, the bag is solid.

One last gripe is that the bag was exposed to some heat and it caused the material to melt/get damaged there. It's small, but the material does not handle heat well.
