I never want to take these off! These leggings not only keep me warm, but also help me regulate my body temperature, to stay comfortable indoors & out. The fabric is very thin and soft, not itchy or bulky under corduroys or jeans. They're also warm enough to wear with a skirt. These are not skin-tight. Because I'm petite the fabric bunches up at the ankles, but not enough to create unwanted bulk.
I wear them waiting for public transit in 30F weather. In moderate wind, I'm still warm though heavy wind will go though these lightweight bottoms. However, upon moving to a sheltered area I'm warm again in seconds.

size was a perfect fit. purchased these for a hiking trip in Alaska. They are light weight ,which is helpful when wearing them or caring them in a pack. When worn under hiking pants no bunching, smooth fit. They kept me warm at night.

And a good value for wool but they are a bit scratchy. I ordered 3 different brands of tights and these were my second-favorite of the 3. But they are definitely the warmest.
