These do keep you cool as long as you keep your speed up (minimum of 15 to 20mph, depending on how much you sweat). At those speeds, the moving air gives you a nice cooling effect. If your speed drops, then heat builds up, but at least you don't get sunburned.

this coolers fit perfectly and did the job of protecting my arms from the potentially harmful rays of the sun while cooling them at the same time.

I initial bought it to cool arms and it works great as expected, at the same time prevent arms from getting sunburn. As I ride I don't feel the heat on my arms even when I was riding into Ramona, CA where temperature was 106, 107 degree.
