Slightly big for my 3 year old girl but nice gloves. Already saved her hands once. I need 4 more words per Amazon.Best Deals for Giro Youth DND Junior Gloves
We had previously bought the half-finger gloves for our son when he was 4 in size XS, but we live in the SF Bay Area where the weather can be chilly any time of year and found that his fingertips were icy a lot of the times after just a few laps around the block. There were a couple of times I put knit gloves with 'grippies' on his hands to go bike riding but they weren't that comfortable for him and he took them off pretty quickly. The Giro brand kids gloves have just the right amount of cushion in the palm for comfort and he always chose to wear the half gloves even if it meant his fingers would freeze.I had no idea that full fingered gloves were available in Jr. sizes until I came across them at a real bike shop when I went in to take a look at a new bike(we bought the half fingered ones at a big sporting goods store). I grabbed a pair as soon as I spotted them (and the fluorescent green ones really stand out!) and knew my kid needed to have them. He was really excited when I brought his new gloves home, but I got the size 'small' which was a bit on the snug side and had to go back in the next day to exchange them for a 'medium'.
My boy is 6 now and has been wearing these gloves since this past Christmas. They still fit great, look new even after 2 washings, keep his hands a comfortable temperature, and the best part is that his hands have been saved from scrapes in several spills he's taken off his bike.
I will continue to buy these gloves in the future as he grows or wears through them, although I don't foresee the latter occurring .
