This is a great helmet. Fits perfectly with my fairly small head and is real comfortable. Also keeps your head nice and warm so no need for wearing a hat underneath. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a non-expensive but protective helmet. Here's the sizing so you do not have to go looking:

XS(52-54 cm), S(54-56 cm), M(56-58 cm), L(58-60 cm), XL(60-62 cm). The measurements are pretty much right on the money. My head measured from 52-54 cm and the size fit perfect. Just measure your head all the way around and purchase the size that fits your measurement-range.

I have had this helmet for 2 years now. A week ago i got in a terrible crash. Fell 15 feet and landed head first on a big log. The helmet did not crack but the foam inside compressed absorbing allot of the shock like its supposed to. The doctors told me if i had no helmet i would be in a really bad coma or dead. The reason i got this helmet was at the time it was in the top 3 for concussion prevent.

This is a great helmet for the money. I wish it was a bit smaller, but it was very effective when I fell off a rail this year in Killington. I'm definitely glad I bought this helmet and that my melon is still in working order.

I'm very happy with the initial fit and function of the Smith Holt series helmet. I like the fact that it is "adjustable" for warmer weather I may actually use it on some bike rides this spring before the summer helmet comes out. Haven't actually tried removing any of the warming features yet, so don't know how easily this can be done, or how durable the snaps/Velcro are for this purpose.

One item of note: the goggle strap holder in the back has it's opening in the top, not the bottom. I find this a little inconvenient, as I found my goggle strap could pop out of that rather easily if the goggles are not right on my eyes. I'm thinking I'd like a bottom opening on this feature better.

I bought a Smith Optics Holt Park model (which is essentially the same helmet without the ear flaps) in large for myself. It fit great. I also bought this helmet in medium for a friend. This, in medium, actually fit me (who wears a large in essentially the same helmet) better than her. We put the included pads under the liner and made it fit better. I don't think you are supposed to use the pads and the liner at the same time, but she like how it fits better than one or the other...

Maybe its runs a bit big because they expect you to wear a hat or something under it?
