This sweater was sooo soft. I ordered a medium and I'm about 5'5 and weight 135lbs. I don't have a large top so it fit me just fine. I can still wear this with a t-shirt underneath. I wore it thinking I could get away with it as just a top which was a bad idea. It's a pretty warm sweater, not think, but surprisingly warm. So definitely expect to wear something underneath it case you get hot.
