I'm a bigger girl, size 14-16, and I have bigger hips than usual. I tried on EVERY RAIN JACKET at a popular outdoors store, and none of the XL would go over my hips...and they didn't carry anything bigger. I needed a jacket for an upcoming Iceland trip, so I was hopeful when I saw that they had this jacket on amazon in XXL. The jacket fits weird...it's huge across my chest and the arms are super long, BUT it fits just right around my hips. So...it fits. It looks pretty ugly, because it's shapeless and the black color is shiny so it looks kind of like a trash bag...BUT I wore it in the rain two days ago and stayed nice and dry. So...not the best fashion statement, but it will do the job.

A year ago I was looking for a good rain jacket for traveling to the South during November. This may be good for protecting against a soaking rain, but it's apparently not breathable, and I tend to get clammy. Originally I'd given this 3 stars, but just now I learned that it's not breathable by design.

I am petite. 4'11 and 104lb but I did expect the jacket to be better fitting. there was a lot of space in the sleeves. It is longer in the back than the front which I like. I can learn to love it because it is waterproof and brightly red so no one hits me when they are driving around campus

This is a nice jacket. It has a little bit of a tailored fit so that it can be worn with a skirt as well as jeans. Not too sure about the rubbery feel, but it looks good and has a great price.
