I bought these to protect my legs while putting up firewood, not from a chainsaw but having a piece of wood skip out either while cutting in small pieces w/ a saw or while splitting wood & clock me in the shin at 35 mph though they would probably save your leg in a bad accident. They just came and are of better quality than expected, padded well, fit nicely & snuggly.( I am 5'10" ) Easy to move in, kneel & comfortable. I feel a little like Ironman lol but not going to get too cavalier lest I be shopping for a cup next !I'm a big guy and this gear fits me great. quality seems nice Easton makes a product I will always believe in.
