This swimsuit has better coverage and is more generous in its sizing than Speedos that I tried of the same size. The hip cut is modest, but not religiously so. I ordered my normal dress size and it fit perfectly, even a little snug but that's good for a swimsuit. The suit was very stylish and in my opinion, slimming. In the water, the suit was comfortable, did not ride up. Considering I have a long torso, this was a pleasant surprise.

Now for the bad part-the bust. If you have a larger bust, know that this suit DOES NOT have a shelf or any kind of bra other than the lining. The suit properly covered my bust, but I found the straps were too long, and the front cut was too deep. This was a particular issue in the water, as there was far too much movement and I could feel drag through the suit because of the deep neck cut and lack of stability. That's really unfortunate because the suit is really perfect otherwise.

In a 30 minute period, I was able to swim 100 more yards than I normally did in my non-sports swimsuit. I don't know if this is attributable to the suit or if I was just having a good day, but that's about a 10% increase in distance. I plan to use this suit for my regular swims and since I'm not competitive, the suit I wear is not such a huge deal. But boy this suit would be fantastic if there was just a shelf bra in there!!

This is the third of its kind my wife has purchased! Sturdy, well put together. Attractive. Highly recommended for anyone in need of training suits that last in pools and open water.

It is a sports suit and the back is therefore designed as one. Getting in and out is a challenge so be aware that you get what you purchase. Good quality, nice design and fit
