It comes with a liner. This helmet is on the slightly heavier side (maybe because it is a full ski helmet), so that's why I gave it 4 stars.
I bought the matching pink flutterby frame goggle with this helmet, all for less than $30. A value buy.

I'm not an expert. When I learned to ski only professional racers wore helmets, now every kid needs one. I took my daughter out a couple of times this year and she got hooked. She likes pink. This helmet is priced right, and from what I can tell protects her head just fine. Most importantly, she loves it.
