This jacket is great! It keeps me dry in the rain, blocks the wind but is still breathable, the yellow is super bright so drivers can see me on the road, and I really like the cut of the hood when the hood is over my helmet, I still have peripheral vision. I went for an hour ride in rain, snow and about 35F-degree weather the other day wearing this jacket over a thermal shirt and a fleece jacket and I was toasty warm and relatively dry (in a Portland downpour) I highly recommend this jacket.

Addendum 4/12/2011 still think this jacket is amazing! I have fallen a couple times onto my elbow (getting used to clip-in pedals) and each time I thought "oh heck there goes my nice new jacket..." but it holds up to the asphalt amazingly well, no rips at all. I still firmly attest to its breathable fabric and wind blocking properties, and it will keep you dry. Sizing seems to run small I wear an XL in Pearl Izumi tops and a medium in bottoms, so my jacket is XL and it is perfect for layering over thermals, and it fits fine, not too baggy, just over a jersey.

3/8/2013 and I'm still wearing this jacket, it still keeps me dry, blocks the wind, and I still love it!

This jacket is so lightweight that it packs down to a small size and yet it is incredibly waterproof. I'm totally satisfied with this product. It will stand up to steady rain and you'll be dry underneath. I've cycled head-on into torrential rain for an hour and the only thing that got wet was my wrists everything else was dry. Tailored shape makes it very flattering and feminine. The "screaming yellow" description is bang on! People can see you a mile away! Great product.

The jacket is very nice. I haven't worn it in the rain yet, so I don't know if it will keep me dry. The company who shipped it decided to substitute with a yellow jacket with no notice. They said green was not available.

Jacket zipper is difficult to zip one-handed which is what you need for cycling. The Izumi jacket I had before this one zipped better, but the zipper started splitting at the bottom (after probably 7 years of wear), so I needed this new one. It always feels like it's stuck but it's not, it's just difficult and takes two hands.

Also, this new jacket is made from what feels like latex, instead of a water-repellent fabric. It makes me too sweaty, doesn't breathe well.

I always like Pearl Izumi design and quality, so I am surprised and disappointed that this jacket doesn't live up to my expectations for Pearl Izumi products.
