I lost my previous light weight/fleece/wind-stopper mountain hardware gloves and these were kind of the new model wasn't sure I'd like them as much when looking at them online, but when I got them I really liked them! They are warm, comfortable and easy to manuever.

Based on the reviews and the look, I expected these gloves would be warm for my winter use. Sadly, I am disappointed. These are expensive gloves and I expected them to be more substantial. The fit is good and I like the look but in my view they are weak when it comes to keeping your hands warm when it is in the single digits.

I requested these gloves after trying them on at REI last year. I have short, thick hands so I often end up with gloves with lots of extra finger space at the ends. With a medium these gloves fit me like...well, a glove. It's the best ft I've ever experienced in a glove. I fold them in half and keep them in my pockets and they don't fee overly bulky. If you have long hands or are in a very windy area this may not be the pair for you.
