Allow me to start by saying that the picture does not do this watch justice. The grey face is not quite as dark as this picture would have you think. It is actually closer to the color of the brushed steel band. While it is certainly two tone, the gold is a more subtle yellow then pictured. I think this is a stunningly handsome watch.

I've only had this watch for a couple of weeks, so I can't speak to its durability, but I have another Seiko that I love (and still wear) that is still running fine after a year (I also know that's not really that long).

I'd certainly recommend this to any watch guy. If I think differently in the future, then I'll amend my review.

Update: I think it is also noteworthy that the day feature can be in English or Spanish. Also, I can be a bit hard on my watches, and after a few months, this watch still looks like I just took it out of the box. I'm still VERY pleased with this watch.

Really happy with this purchase. My last watch was a two tone, however the bronze face on this watch makes it extra smart. It has a chunky feel about it. Looking forward not having to change batteries and paying extra to have it resealed to be water resistant to 100 m.

The Seiko SNE098 is a great watch at a great price! The price on Amazon is considerably less than anywhere else. The watch looks to be extremely expensive, is very stylish, and perhaps, the best part is the fact that it does not require a battery. It looks great on my wrist! The charcoal face is very striking and the fact that the dials and the numbers are luminous make it very practical in a darkened room. I wholeheartedly recommend this watch.
