I purchased this shirt in a Medium for my son (he wears a size 10 and this was perfect with some growing room). The shirt is not too thin and not too thick. He wore this shirt under a short sleeve t-shirt and did not complain about being too hot.

I own several of these youth sized long sleeved t-shirts. I am female, 5' 4" about 110 pounds, pretty much flat-chested. I buy the XL and the fit is perfect. The sleeves come just to my wrist bone and the length is long enough to tuck but short enough to look okay untucked. The printed tag is colored so its easy to find. And the neck opening is smaller on the youth size which I like because I have a skinny neck. The shirts don't shrink as far as I can tell and the cotton feels so good. I don't iron them but I would if I were wearing one to something other than walking or hanging out at home.

I got several of these in various sizes and colors for my family of boys -we wear them through the winter under other shirts. In our part of Arizona, you often don't need a full jacket if you have on sleeves -just a vest jacket will do.

These shirts hold their color well and they do not shrink. I wash and dry everything full blast. You can't miss with this one. Great colors.

Shirt washes up pretty well; needs a quick ironing if you want it wrinkle free. Size is accurate and did not shrink.
