at first he hated this hat, but with the heat cranking up he needed a hat to keep the sun off. Now we cant get him to take it off. The hat material is very light and breathes well, keeping his sweat away from his head. The brim is very wide and protects his face and neck. Would recommend to any parent.

I expected it to have an adjustment cord around the headband like other OR hats we have purchased in the past. The "L" is a bit big on our almost 6 yo, but it will work. I'm hoping the "M" I ordered will fit our almost 4 yo. The material and drawstring as well as the color are all good. Again, I ordered a bit big for them as I expected to be able to use the drawstring to adjust a bit like the fantastic OR hats that we used the last two years (which regrettably are not to be found this year).

Our 3yr old wore this hat comfortably on our trip to the rainforest and beaches in Central America. It is very comfortable, she did not complain at all to put it on. It provides lots of shade on her face which protected her the entire trip. It is made of very light material so it was very easy to pack. Will recommend it to others.
