I am slowly transitioning my wardrobe to mostly merino wool active wear for a multitude of reasons. Care of pieces require only a cold water wash and never go into the dryer (they WILL shrink) environmentally sound. The fabrics don't carry human perspiration odors so these pieces can be worn repeatedly until soiling mandates laundering. They dry on a hanger in just a few hours and never seem to be prone to oil staining like cottons. Wool wicks sweat better than any fabric I've found, making it cool in Summer and insulating in Winter. All this proselytizing makes me a merino wool evangelist!

That said, this cami gives me a nice raspberry pink color option for layering or wearing alone. It has a bit of subtle graphics; always order one size larger than you normally wear in other clothing. I wear mostly medium shirts but always buy large in Icebreaker. Even then, they are tailored to hug your figure. The fabric is 150 gm weight so it is thin. Best suited for summer wear or base layering.

Price seem too high? Think of Icebreaker as heirloom clothing that you will keep for the life of the garment, while the little maintenance it requires will contribute to its longevity and offset the initial cost. Also, If I buy only what I need and quit shopping for the latest fashion fad, I'll be contributing to a greener world.

My go to undergarment. I love this top. It's comfortable, thin, wears well for several days without odor and dries quickly. Is comfortable and cool enough for a layer in 80 degree weather and add extra warmth when cooler (noticed a difference in 39 degrees when I put it on.)It is see through so i woudln't wear it along. Comfortable to sleep in as well. I will be purchasing more of these.

Everything that it's advertised to be, it makes an excellent top for outdoor activities, though throw a cardigan over it and it works equally well as business casual with some dress pants and stylish footwear.
