Great run tight, but I was hoping for more compression. I'm 6'5" 275lbs. and the XXL covers my ankles. Almost too long. I'm an avid bodybuilder, and my legs are very muscular. That said, I would order an XL next time around. In comparison, my 2XU Elite tights are far tighter in the same size.Best Deals for 2XU Men's Thermal Run Tights
Having nailed this purchase as part of a 50% off clearance price, I was ecstatic to try this pair on a fall mornin' run... I'm a 6'2", 200 lbs. male, in body make-over mode. Perks of the 2XU tights were easy to note from the get-go... 1) The crotch seam doesn't split my junk in half. For me, this enhances the overall comfort factor, as I wear a light jock-thong for most runs.2) The compression weave is just right, meaning they go-on easily and support key muscles, and I don't necessarily have to peel them off when finished.
3) The rise is low enough to avoid outright muffin-top when the tie-waist is fastened, but not too low. (I'm in make-over mode, remember).
4) The thermal factor too, is just right for season transitional runnning. I've done a few morning runs with temperatures between 48 & 53 degrees and feel warmth w/o overheating.
I'm pleased with this pair and will keep on runnin'! Peace!
Honest reviews on 2XU Men's Thermal Run Tights
this brand is awesome, I will order it in the future, too! the price is reasonable, the product is high qualityFind helpful customer reviews and review ratings for 2XU Men's Thermal Run Tights
Based on my recent experience with a 2XU sub-zero cycle jacket (see my review), I bought these tights to do some warm winter recreational cycling in northern VA. The 2XU description says that these tights are "engineered for spring/autumn use in cool, above freezing conditions." Perhaps this is true if you are a marathoner. For recreational cycling, I would say they are likely good for temperatures above 50 degrees F. The fabric is very thin, and the legs look very long relative to the area between the waist and the crotch. Given these reservations and their cost, I did not try the tights, but sent them back to Amazon my first return ever! The above evaluation seems justified given my subsequent purchase of thermal tights (item 10-9119) from Performance Bicycle for $60. These Performance tights have a much heavier material and are good for cycling down to 40 degrees F.
