These keep my hands warm with the cool north winds when riding, but are more for short rides like 15miles or less. I prefer more padding for longer rides.

The glove itself is ok, but the fingertips look and feel like plastic. I returned and bought a different Pearl Izumi style glove which I love.

Last winter, I wore my ski gloves while biking, and I looked a bit ridiculous (and also didn't have great control over the brakes). I bought these so I'd have actual biking gloves, and they are very comfortable, true-to-size, and well-made. They don't feel SUPER warm, but I think they'll help me get through commuting most of the winter. For the coldest days, I'll toss in some Hot Hands hand warmers and be good to go.

Fits just right. Very comfortable when riding. My hands are protected and I have better grip when riding. Great gloves.
