I just got these pants in the mail and I love them! the fabric is very soft and the petite length is perfect. The bug repellent is an added plus. I'll be bringing these with me on my next trip.

After losing weight I needed a smaller aize of these BugsAway pants, which I have worn and loved. I now wear a size 6 petite in other pants including ExOfficio's convertible BugsAway pants. So I ordered this pair, preferring a pair of pants that didn't convert to shorts since I was, after all, trying to keep ticks and chiggers away from my legs. (No need for shorts, ever!). These pants were the worst I have ever tried on, with absolutely NO room for any normal person's crotch. The waist is so low, there is no way a normal person can possibly fit into these pants. This was not a problem in the larger size I wore when I was heavier, but definitely one for this pair. Don't buy. Period.

I don't like to use chemical insect repellents so I tried these. I wore them through an African safari, and did not get a single mosquito bite. Now I wear them for gardening, walking my dog in wooded areas, and anywhere else there are mosquitoes or ticks. I never get bitten. Get them, they are worth the price.

Got these for warding off ticks when gardening. They are a little bit baggier in the leg than I usually wear which is why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5...but doing their warding off of bugs very well!
