This kit isn't for repairing clothing zippers. It contains 5 zipper sliders, not 9 as stated in the description, 4 of which are large double sided zippers. If you need to repair the zipper on a heavy coat, sleeping bag, tent, that sort of thing, then this is your kit. It would have been nice to know that before ordering. Now you do.

It comes with high quality zipper heads, needles, thread, seam cutter, and instructions to seriously repair a broken zipper in e.g. luggage sleeping bag, or tent. Unfortunately, there were no instructions for replacing the zipper head on a jacket.

I was able to replace the worn zipper head on my favorite leather jacket by applying pliers to one of the zipper heads => successful repair!

I had both the zipper heads torn out of a 29 inch American Tourister roller bag when the luggage arrived in the carousel after a flight.

The bag was clearly unusable (only I know how I made it from airport to hotel) and I decided to plunk 10 bucks to try out this kit, before getting a new bag for 70-80 bucks.

This kit has everything you need, and a novice like me could repair the bag in half an hour! It is fully usable now and I saved atleast $50-60 which I would have otherwise used for a new bag.

I still have 3 zipper heads and the full sewing kit to see me out of another calamity!

Try this before you throw away something for only a broken zipper / head...

This kit includes a seam ripper, 2 very large needles, thread, and instructions. Although there are five zipper pulls included, there are only three sizes. One is VERY large and would not be for clothing. My goal was to replace the zipper on a mens heavy winter jacket. None of the included pulls are the correct size. The sizes on the package say #10, #8, and #5. HTH.

I recently had a zipper ripped off my suitcase by baggage handlers, and got an ambivalent shrug from the airline when I requested compensation for a repair. I bought this kit, which has 2 zippers to fit a large suitcase, as well as everything else you need to repair the zipper yourself, including instructions. This is a must-have!
