This top is very thin but amazingly warm! I love the thinness factor, can easily use it as an under layer. Love the fact that I can throw it in the washer & dryer. It's wool but not itchy. Kind of pricey, but definitely worth it!

The Ibex women's woolies is breathable and warm under cold conditions, but when you are inside at home it keeps you cool without overheating. I use it as an underlayer with a light jacket for my commute by bycicle and I don't get to sweaty in autumn temperatures in New York City. I will have to try it under extreme conditions in winter.

Ibex has not disappointed me. This top is soft, warm, breathable, durable and really flattering. I would say it is definitely worth the extra money. Ibex products seem to look new after they have been washed.

My wife loves this Ibex top. we have a lot of Merino wool products of all different weights we use for back packing and hiking. I am an ultralight fanatic, so i want the most warmth in a base layer that weighs the least (and doesn't stink like nylon or capilene). We have Icebreaker and Smartwool tops and bottoms as well as Ibex. We are sticking with Ibex due to build quality, feel and the fact that it piles the least.

Merino wool is like magic. It keeps you warm when its cold and keeps you cool when its hot, that's why we prefer 150 weight for our normal base layer above 20 or 25 degrees.

I am a southern Californian who went to Ireland and was worried about keeping warm. I wore my Woolies under light sweaters or shirts and I stayed warm in 40 degree weather easily. The material is soft and thin and the small was a good fit. I'm a 34d and a 27 inch waist for reference. Will wear anytime it's chilly.
