These socks are GREAT! Been wearing them for over 500 miles now. I wore them in my first Ironman(Florida) this year and couldn't be happier. They are warm enough for 40* on up, and are comfortable even on 100* days. I even sometimes wear these socks when wearing my cowboy boots to keep my feet from sweating profusely lol.

But these socks are perfect; great height right above the ankle, keep your shoe temperature warm in the cold and cool in the heat, are comfortable for 100+mile rides, and look good.

I def plan on buying more in the future.

Your feet stay warm and dry in all conditions. I even like them around the house when not riding the bike.

The item description above claims that the socks are 63% Merino Wool, 26% Nylon, 10% Cordura, 1% Lycra. The actual socks that Amazon sent are still from DeFeet, they still have the Wooleator brand name, but come with packaging that claims they are made of 64% Merino Wool, 28% Nylon, 8% Elastic. If the material that the socks are made of is important to you, go buy them someplace else, someplace you can actually tell what you are getting before you purchase.

I bought theses socks since they were the right price,

but after using it for few months now, it worth a lot more!

I'm a heavy sweater and these socks can take everything you throw at them,

I have used it for both cold and warm weather (not extreme cold, high 30's)

with convenience.

if you like a slight rough texture you're going to enjoy these.

P.S these socks never stink!!! ;-D
