I have tried many compression shirts because I enjoy the feel of the compression, especially when sleeping. Apparently the comparison "marks" are UA and Nike. This is not as nice or as heavy as either of them, but the difference is minor, and if the price causes you (as it did me) to consider this as an alternative, then it is a good choice. In conrtrast to the two "reference" brands, which require using at minimum one size larger, and usually two or three sizes larger than I normally wear, this one is sized more accurately while still maintaining a good compression fit. The quality seems fine and I do like the high spandex content at 21 percent which insures a great stretch and return without losing shape or losing compression feel. The arms of the long sleeve version are long enough on the XL to fit nicely on my 36 inch arm length requirement for dress shirts. The arms fit snug all the way, and the underarm area is a great snug fit which is very helpful in wicking away presperation. If you want a light compression instead of "normal tight" comprerssion, I would suggest buying one size larger, and conversely, one size smaller if you like it really tight. The shirt's material has a lot of stretch.
