I absolutely love these socks! I work security in a prison with shifts anywhere from 8-16 hours long. My feet & toes get cold easily. I also have a chronic foot problem & these socks keep me dry.
I wear these sock liners under merino socks (3 Prs. Merino Wool Blend Socks) in boots (Women's Rocky® 4465 Blizzard Stalker 10" Boots) & this works great.

Bought these before a trek in Nepal as I was not sure how cold it would be. I didn't actually need them for the trek but wore them around Kathmandu both in my trekking boots and in my trainers. Ideal when the weather is warm but you don't want to go without socks in your shoes.
Only wore them 2 3 times and only washed once so far so can't comment on how well thay will stand up to frequent wear and washing. Certainly no sagging, thinning or loss of shape so far.

I walk for exercise and I hike. I have had a persistent problem with blisters on my heel. My brother suggested getting some better quality socks and use a liner.
