I meant to get a large. Perhaps even an extra large, because I'm afraid of small gloves. For some reason, I must have ordered a medium instead. I was sure it was Amazon's mistake when they arrived. Nope. All mine. But after trying them on, I realized it was the best mistake I've made in a while. They go on tight, but they stretch out nicely without hurting your hand or cutting off circulation. And being snug against my hand, I now handle the bike better than with any other glove I've had. This gives you something to think about when you decide on size.

The worry was taking them off. I just pull them inside out as they come off and then put them right side out afterwards. Maybe that will wear them out faster, but at this price, that's okay. Best biking glove so far.

bought medium since my hands are small (size 8 glove) and they fit right; a little snug at first but after a couple of rides they stretched just enough to fit very well. enough padding but not too much and they look great and are very easy to see since I ordered the screaming yellow

Pearl Izumi gloves are always high quality. I would have ordered L if available, but Medium still fits. (Will have to watch for shrinkage when laundering.) I was expecting a "hi-vis" yellow color, but these puppies are definitely pale green. Cruder color description possible, too. Still, they're nice cycling gloves; just need a jersey to go with the color!

These are my first pair of cycling gloves so I don't have anything to compare them to. I've used these on rides between 10 to 100 miles andinfo y performed better on shorter to medium distance rides.

I think the padding on the palms is in a weird place and end up using a hand position that isn't normal for me.
